Thanks for that. Just to clarify:
1. I'll only need to do it once per CB?
2. I can add myself 10 times online with the same info and Amex won't think it's duplicate requests? And the CBs won't think it's fishy that 10 AU duplicates?
3. Do I tell the CBs all 10  AUs are duplicates of the primary card and they should remove all the AUs or that 9 are duplicates of one AU?

You don't have to prove anything. It says very clearly on your credit report which accounts you're responsible for and which accounts you're an authorized user on.

But they will be willing to remove an AU account w/o me proving that its duplicate?

Also, when I am applying for AU online, I can choose a separate "name on card", which gets reported to  CB?

The name on the card makes no difference. As long as you tell them you're not responsible for the account and don't want it appearing on your report, they should be willing to remove it.

I hear, never knew they would just remove an AU account by just asking...

What I'm asking about the name on card is if I put name on card of someone living at my address but by "first name" & "last name" I put my name, who's report will it be on?

I think he meant as a reason to take them off, it's showing on your report as 110k but you really only have 10k of credit...

Also if you make a charge on one it comes up on all,
That was my push to call them, as they reported a lot of spend even though was very little, and yes if you have a lot of total available credit is also good, but not if you use even 25%...
Now there is an advantage in having them, is if you want your average age high, give it a few years and it will be hard to lower, as you have a lot of 'old' cards,
But aside from that, I see no benefit in leaving them on

The two things (AAoA and utilization) are unrelated. You will be using 25% whether you have AU cards or not (you'll have 10x the credit and 10x the balance). If you only want a balance reporting on 1 card, this will mess that up (as it'll report 10x).
