I haven't seen any problems with having 100 open credit cards, other then falling into debt. (Being irresponsoble) Is there any other reason not to open up a ton of credit cards?

hurts the average age of your overall history, otherwise go for it. more cards = more bonuses. That's how to rack up a nice points balance, unless you can spend big.
