Nice!

FYI. Chase reps aren't Indian.
Are you sure? SM ones seem to be quite often.

There might be other differences but at the top of my head,
A. The business is not being reported.
B. The business card gets GOGO passes.
I like vanilla but my name is Venilla.

Trying to get an ink in before 5/24 (maybe) kicks in. I currently have one open ink with a 22k credit line. It's been opened for about 17 months. Do I:
A) close it today and reapply soon?
B) try for another while it's open, and then close it?
C) downgrade it first, but then I lose the option of getting my second year AF back.

my DW opened a chase personal cc about a month ago and after trying to make her first purchase she received a fraud alert on the account. i quickly called up and was told they need to verify some info and would get back to me with in 24-48 hours. so a few days later after they still haven't called back i called again and was told the same thing. and this went on and on for roughly a month. promises of getting a call back and no call comes. is there a number i can call to take care of the issue directly? i already called the Chase Fraud #'s from the other threads w/o any luck. does anyone have advice. TIA

I will make the question short and to the point: These days is it much harder to get an ink if you currently have one opened, as opposed to not having one open?

Keep it open. Try for a second.

Just to clarify, I don't mind closing it if it will better my chances... Are you saying it makes no difference that I have one open when I apply?

Many people have multiple Inks. Closing the one you have means risking ending up with none.

Nah my wife still has one, and I don't hit the 50k in staples anyway...

I don't think it adds to your chances if you close yours first.

I got approved for a second ink after about 15 months of the first with a 10k cl and not the best credit report.

Thanks for the data point. How many cards in the 24 months leading up to the new ink?

Met the spend on BA and IHG cards; earned the base points but not the bonus after first statement. With IHG, I SM'ed to match and get that extra 20k, so they know I met the spend. Does Chase post bonus for non UR cards the second statement now? I always thought it was the first.
