Mercedes Benz.
Are MV and plat considered the same card as far as getting a sign up bonus is concerned?

What's the max amount of cards amex allows one to hold?

I'm not sure this is the right place to ask. if not, please direct me the the right thread. I spend tens of thousands a month on Insurance premiums, though most companies don't take Amex. What card would be the best option? I'm seriously thinking of a good 2% cash back card. any other suggestions ?

Capital one spark (if you don't mind getting 3 pulls).

What is the cap for the Citi double cash card?

I believe there is no cap. Which of these 3 is most valuable? Capital one Spark, Citi Double cash or Barclay Arrival plus?

Really Id prefer it being a business card so spending does not count towards credit usage. any more suggestions on the business side? I currently use the Ink plus i just feel it is a waste to spend so much and only receive 1 point. i can put that to better use at ""office supplies stores"" 8).

Cap1 is business, but iirc all Cap1 business cards report on your CR.

Maybe consider the bank of America worldpoints 1.5 unlimited?
Like the arrival+, it can only be redeemed for "travel" though.

There are people who have transferred from Biz to personal, but it's not easy.

I think they can't "transfer" the cl, they have to manually decrease the biz cl, then increase the personal.
Does this work from personal to business?

Better to MS on a business card.

There's nothing better about MS on a business card if you do it correctly.

No point, 1.5 CB per $ that's worse than 1 UR point IMO. However 2% CB that might be better.

what do you guys think, stick with 1 UR or go with 2% CB? (Or any better Ideas)

Freedom Unlimited is 1.5 UR.
Who do you think you are fooling? You think you are going to pull a quick one on your Creator? Good luck with that.

you are correct. I didn't think about that, i did not get my hands on one just yet. Is it open for all to sign up?

I guess the Q now is 1.5 UR or 2% CB?

Personally I would do arrival+ since its 2.1% cash back. Not that you can't get that kind of value plus out of UR, but you need to be able to consistently burn them at that rate to make it worth it...

Open for signup. (17.5k after $500 and AU.)
IMO, 1.5 UR > 2% CB (you said as much yourself when you said you consider 1 UR better than 1.5% CB, which would make 1.5 UR minimum 2.25%), but that's up to you.

A+ isn't worth the extra effort and AF for the extra .1%, IMO. You'd need to spend 95k to break even with the AF.

That's nearly always true, but if he is spending for a company, he may not get reimbursed until the statement cuts, in which case it will show very high utilization on the report.

That isn't much of a problem if he isn't opening any cards now, just make sure the statement before you apply is clear (or $2).

BUT, (I think you may have told me this is the credit thread) he could end up being rebucketed, which would take more then 1 statement to bounce back from. CMIIW.

Then Cap1 won't help.

True, that's why he asked if there are other 2% business cards.
