You just need the report number from the original report. Save it as pdf so you have it

Just did it. Amazing!

I just saved the report number as a text document on my desktop
I wonder what people who type "u" instead of "you" do with all their free time.

When I got an increase I definitely didn't get a hard pull maybe I got a soft pull I would have no way of knowing because each hard pull I can match to a card but I don't know anything about all the soft pulls (who cares about the soft pulls)

I got a letter in the mail declining the credit increase for my spg. In the letter it contained my credit score. How do I know of I got a pull for the request of increase or not? If they did pull can I get it off (i wouldnt have requested if I knew there would be a pull)?

You probably got one,  if they didn't tell you specifically no pull then it's not going to be simple

IME, my hyatt card had to be added manually. Then most recently my Marriott took time until I got the email that my card was in the way.

If you were approved I don't see the ha calling and asking when it'll appear.

I have a bill of around $1600 that I need to pay, so I thought it would be a good opportunity to get another card since that would be a good chunk of initial spend. I currently have Ink, Ink+, BA, Freedom, Sapphire Preferred, AMEX Everyday Preferred, United MileagePlus Explorer, AAdvantage, and US Airways. So I figured SPG would be a good one to get. I applied and was approved. Then I looked at the bill and saw that they don't take AMEX. OK, no problem, I can use my Redbird to generate the $5000 spend over the next six months. But I still would like to use that bill for initial spend. So what Visa or MC (or Discover) should I get? I rarely stay in hotels, I travel to Israel a fair amount, and I do some domestic travel.

A friend of mine (22 yr) with no credit history wants to open his first card but doesn't have a relative with good history to be added as an AU. He's also not interested in a student or secured card. He asked me about the PayPal CC - he's had an account with them for a long time - (See here for more info: https://www.paypal.com/webapps/mpp/credit-card). So I'm wondering what do people here think about that idea?

Nope. He's never applied for any sort of credit in his life. A credit virgin ;)
