I think some DDF members have a hard time understanding anything credit related.

Mendel. Pilan and I are from CB and we came here to help DDF learn some credit basics. You may soon have to get new teachers if you keep this up

+1 . Unfortunately . This applies to understanding rewards as well. People don't like reading . They waste others time by just asking the same Q's over and over again. I think we should come up with new rule of no questions answered if question was answered three times before in the last 20 paged .

Personally talking for myself , I can't even explain how much I've personally gained and people I've helped based on the knowledge you guys have introduced me to. CB is a great forum and the knowledge there to be brought here is irreplaceable in what it can benefit the community. I hope this forum has helped you guys as well in terms of how to maximize in the rewards aspect

Does amex personal platinum affect your credit score? How do they factor it in- if there is no credit limit?

One solution is to use put these repetitive questions in the wiki's of their respective threads.

It only takes a few seconds, and people are much more likely to look there before asking then searching in a huge thread.

So From what I read if you close a chase card within thirty days you can get a refund of the AF.
So if I apply for another card and (will probably) get declined which then I would call and close the card that the AF got billed to and transfer the line of credit would they make me pay off the balance as they normally do?
And how do they refund my AF. To my checking?

Af is refunded to the card it was charged to. If you close the card and balance is;zero they'll send you a check

60 days for auto-refund, 180 for manual refund.
