My friend is in need of money, so he wants to pay my chase CC bill with a balance transfer from his BA or Barclays account. My question is will it have any kind of effect on me, as they will see that my bills are getting paid via balance transfer?

1) Barclays has the option of doing a BT to a bank account.
2) check with your lor in regard to paying the BT fees

Is there a point of adding an AU when he's really young, (let's say a child,) or is there limit to how much you can gain from being an AU, and there's no point of bring added so young?

IIRC (I might be confused with a thread I read on CB) , mendel or plansyme actually have a list of the limits on when AU can be added (starting at what age) per cc company/bank

Many cards have spend threshold bonuses. Don't recall which though.

Good to know. Let's say a bank allows you to add any age though, is there a point in adding a child?

For most cards no. An exception would be Amex.

If the list is right and you can only add at 15 then Amex won't help much, it'll only give you at most 3 years. You could just do Chase a few months before he turns 18 and you'd be fine.

The question was "Let's say a bank allows you to add any age though" hence my answer.
