Yup, one of many reasons why not all merchants accept amex.

How large an amount ? I was under the impression that Amex usually takes the loss.

Chase raised the APRs on all my cards today by 0.25%

Is that cause for concern? A/A????

Edit: I do realize the fed just raised the rate - wondering if this happened to anyone else / across the board?
Here's an old article https://www.chase.com/news/010816-fed-rate-increases-impact

Edit 2: Based on this article it seems if they didn't give me notice it's connected to prime rate increase. Anyone can confirm? https://www.nerdwallet.com/blog/credit-cards/credit-card-issuer-raising-interest-rate-5-times/

Your rate is based off prime rate, which is why it was raised.
Who do you think you are fooling? You think you are going to pull a quick one on your Creator? Good luck with that.

How would anyone know or even care?
"LESS IS MORE" It is the cumulative effect that kills deals!!! How many times do I have to say this?  >:(

How did you ascertain that from my post?
First of all, I do have debt, and I'm not ashamed of that, though I am working to get out of debt.
Any cards I don't PIF are interest free.
I don't however pay before the bill cuts, though I do try to end the month with cards not maxed out.

Edit: Unless you saw my post a few posts back ;)
Does everyone on DDF have $0 debt?
