Expiration should be simple to figure out if it's your card. There are places that don't need CVV.

Chase is 3 years, Citi 4 years, amex 5 years... Every card issuer is different, but usually consistent.

Thanks. I will give that a try. It's my grandmothers IHG Chase. And with all the shutdowns for cards not used lately I want to make sure to spend a few dollars on it.    Its only kept open for the free annual night.

I just closed a marriot business credit card and was refunded my annual fee of 99 dollars. after the account was close I requested a check of the positive Balance through sm, they replies they will send out a check of $1254.00 .
Did they just have a typo or is it possible they made a mistake and are sending me $1100 extra?

My Amex PRG card is about to be charged its first AF and I want to get rid of it. I tried retention but they only offer 7500 points or $75... Do I close the card or upgrade/downgrade? TIA!

Downgrade to a no fee card.

Thank, I can't download to a credit card - only to a charge card? Also, I never had these cards (the green or other no fee cards) so I lose the sign up bonus no?

Correct, can't change from charge to credit. And yes, you would lose the bonus.

Thanks guys, so what would you recommend I do? Is there a charge card I can downgrade to that's worth losing the signup bonus so as to save a hard pull? Or wiser for me to close PRG?

I got an offer in the mail to upgrade my citi AA platinum to the executive and receive 20k if I spend 2k in first 3 months of upgrading the card,  is it worth upgradung and downgrading? if yes how do I avoid the time of annual fee?
