If they pull your credit for the increase it will cost you a couple of points in the short term.

Hi guys, im applying for the 60K delta gold biz offer but I want to do a 2BM or 3BM. I can only get charge cards bc amex will only approve me for one lending card and I don't want personal cards as im almost under 5/24. so my only two options are the green or the plum which I heard are charge cards. which is better to get? not sure if I should get both as I was FRed a lil while ago. any suggestions?

What bonus offers should I focus on from March-May 2017 to have the highest chance of getting 4 RT economy NY-TLV tickets, taking into consideration the time until points post to account and April and May being "spending months" ( I can do $3k spending montly), and also taking into consideration which airline/group has best chance of having available flights (July 4th weekend...)?

Already have 1 CSP with expected 60k pts by April.

Ficos are 715 & 780. I also have a small business with good credit and can SU for a business card.

Thank you!

simple question, when calculating how much i have to pay for a cc, can i take off returns of the total balance i have to pay, even the returns are from things after the last closing closing date?
like for example if my last statement closed with a $500 balance and after the statement closed i purchased something for $100 and returned it, do i only have to pay now $400 as it was credited to my account $100, or because the return was from something i purchased after statement closed i still have to pay $500?

Not relevant at all.

Had the same thing with amex for a $800 return/credit which was applied to the previous statement balance even though it was credited in the next billing cycle, now I do imagine chase does the same, and should you want that to happen call up chase and I'm sure they can help you with that.
Makes no difference when you use your credit, either to pay your bill now or use it later.(dont know if they will let you keep it for later in a case where they manually apply it like american express.)

+1 Amex makes this very clear. However, IME Chase also counts it as payment even if the purchase was in the next billing cycle. (You can even use this as trick never to pay bill by making large purchase and return each cycle. UPDATE: Don't do this trick!)

If you want to double check, Chase Support on twitter is amazing

Yes that's true. I was just making a point. Not to be tried at home :)
