when someone signs up for an aa cc for him and his wife or a ua cc for him and his spouse can he put one ffn to keep all mileage in one account or you need 2 diffrent ffns
Can anyone comment on the FX rate differences between Visa/MC/Amex on no-FX fee cards? The consensus seems to be that MasterCard offers the "best" rate, Visa one of the worst. Is there truth to this? All things considered in terms of earning points, would a MC be more appropriate in terms of monetary savings for someone living abroad (in terms of points-earning cards, let's say CSR Visa vs. Citi Prestige MC, forget about transfer partners for the moment).I'm just thinking that if CSR is marking up the rate by 0.5%-1%, that may deduct from the net value of earned points compared to a MC that may markup less.
I Just got an Amex Delta Skymiles Gold card. I didn't do any referral bonus. Can it be done after I get the Credit card? if yes @Dan do you have a referral code?
All I know is, I seem to be getting a better rate with my CSR, than the rate Google is telling me.
If I change my current freedom to freedom unlimited will it be considered as a new card, as in closed account on the freedom and new open account on the freedom unlimited? Any changes on my CR?
When you do a 'product change' the cc # remains the same, and the account just keeps on ticking. They send you a new card that looks like the new product. (light blue freedom vs dark blue FU) The benefits, AF, etc changes. No change on the CR.
On AMEX when I upgraded it was considered as new account, (the previous as in closed account) wanted to make sure about chase.Hope you right.
You probably did something different.
Regular upgrade from Delta gold to Platinum.
it should't come up as a new account, guess your were lucky to have one of the great Amex reps to "help" you..
Oh well.. Gonna check again, just might be it was on CK, which I think isn't usually that accurate.
For your CR it's entirely accurate
It is!? Always thought it's not accurate. How about score, also accurate?
Interesting... same thing happened to me today. I made a $1K charge on a non-Chase Visa and the amount pending was about $3 less than what Google said it should be. I guess we'll see what amount it fully posts at.
Score is FAKO, I assume accurate FAKO, still not FICO
