Less than a month ago I applied for the ink business preferred and I was accepted. Do i stand a chance of getting accepted for the ink unlimited if I apply now?

Don't we all?  ;)

I would think you have a very good chance of being approved, assuming your credit is adequate. Might need to explain that you want to keep different kinds of expenses on different accounts, blah blah blah.

I have a friend who is a frequent business traveller. He doesn't want to play the cc game, but I would like to recommend a card for him to maximize rewards earned for travel expenses and to maximize redemptions of those rewards. He has status with and prefers AA/Oneworld.

What card should I recommend?
(Or should I convince him to get a combo?)

I had for a few years the ink plus. I now applied for the ink preferred and the ink cash, and was immediately approved for the preferred, and was approved for the ink cash after i explained why I also need that one.

I need to make a large purchase ($5K+) and using a credit card I'd get charged 4% extra. Is there any way to cash out any of the various gift cards (visa gift card, amex etc..) so I can buy the gift cards on the credit card and then give cash?

Thanks
If it's not free shipping it's not worth it.

First ask the merchant if they'll accept debit card payment at no fee or with a lower fee than 4%. If they do, just use those Visa gift cards as debit cards.

The fee is waived for the first year. You can close the acct within 30 days of the annual fee posting to get it refunded

or with in thirty days of being charged the AF call the retention department and see if they'll make a good offer to you for keeping it. (I got 20000 bonus points) if no good offer then close it

I have an excellent credit and only 2 cc (Amex and Citi) and want to open a new cc that offer free transfer balance and 0apr for 12/18 month.

What are the best option ?
( And does a business cc will be better for that propose or not? I don't have a business..)

And could I do transfer balance from 2 cc or you allow to do only 1 to 1 ?

Thanks.

Do you only have 2 CC open? Or only ever had 2?

Define "excellent credit".

A biz card will obviously be a better option, since it won't report, the balance won't negatively effect your credit.

You generally can transfer a balance from more then 1 credit card to the new account.
