If it’s your first card & there’s a significant amount of time till the next card was opened that’s a different story.

Was just billed AF on my chase ink plus. I rarely use this card. Any reason for me to hold on to it?

You'll have the ability to redeem your UR points by transferring them directly to hotel or airline loyalty programs. You can earn 5 points per dollar at office supply stores.

I have the ink preferred. Don’t really maximize the 5ppd at office supply stores.

So downgrade it to an Ink Cash although it probably makes more sense to downgrade the Preffered and keep the Plus.

I just got this card. Got a 120k mailer.

I’m assuming I can’t downgrade at this point. Didn’t meet spend yet.

The Spark Cash has a couple things going for it.  Big SUB's, 2% cashback business card is fine and huge limits are obtainable.  No gimmicks for the redemption like the make you do for the Venture, Venture One or Barclays pulls on the Arrival+.  The fact that it reports to your personal reports kind of makes it the antithesis of a business product though.

The Venture One has a mediocre SUB and is a 1.25% cashback card that limits your redemption to travel.  Gross.  The fact that they market the card as a "Miles" card so they can get away with giving a 1.25% return as opposed to the Quiksilver that gives you a 1.5% return with no redemption gimmicks is hilarious.

In today's credit landscape, no one with halfway decent credit should settle for anything under 2%.  Obviously transferable currency like MR or Ur changes that, as does benefits that come with using a certain card for warranty and return protections etc.  None of which are applicable to a Venture One or Quiksilver

I was thinking of the Venture I guess which is 2% and has bonuses up to 100k, effectively $1,000

Venture and $1000 ≠ Venture One and $200

Unless of course you're taking advantage of the Ink Pref categories

I recently was 2 months plus past due and chase removed all points. I brought it back up to date and Chase said the points will be put back on at the next statement date which is this Sunday. The problem is that the card was due two days ago and I still haven’t paid that amount. Does anyone know if this will stop chase from reissuing the points and whether I will be able to use those points? (If not then I better pay it before Sunday so that I don’t have to wait another month until the next statement to get my points back. It will be difficult for me though.)
The card is a Chase Sapphire Reserve

Not speaking from experience here, but a few days late shouldn't warrant them removing the points again, so I'd assume they will still be returning. I don't know if they have a "probationary" period with things like this, as that would change the whole situation.
Memories last forever, make them while you can.

Been shutdown by Chase many times. Should I poke the bear and try and covert my Hyatt card?
I just found a new supply of forks!
