...but be careful if they are like Citi. They will know which card you are using and give you a call.

Yes and said to destroy it. Was hammering the card so didn't want any issues.

I’ve used multiple “damaged” cards with Chase simultaneously, no issues

Dan posted about ink cards they convert to each other. Ink preferred has 80k for 5k spend and ink cash has 50k for 3k spend. I just got the cash card. I’m trying to figure out if it’s worth the hassle to convert the card to preferred for now to get the 80k bonus or stay with the cash card. I did the math: if I buy gc’s from office supply that 5x per dollar. To reach 80k bonus I need 5k spend and with the cash card if I spend 5000$ in gc’s in office supply I get pretty close:

5000$ times 5=25,000 points
17 gc’s at 300$ each (5100$) at approx. 4$ a gc=68$ times 5=340 points
Bonus =50,000 points
Total=75,340 points
 Yes it is a difference but honestly would anyone here try to make the switch??

I hear people say you can only switch once a year-I wouldn’t want to be stuck w preferred card. I primarily want the cash card.

Can I get a second card on a existing credit card. If yes how? I'm looking to get it on a chase account.
Never tried, but will they not give if you just say a legitimate reason? Like you have two wallets?

Besides for the fact that you don't get bonus for pcing, don't you get 3x on preferred? So bigger discrepancy

you don’t get 3x for office supply. Where would be an easy place to get 3x for ms in preferred categories ? :o
But thanks for letting me know about pcing. I had a suspicion it wouldn’t work for bonus. I read his post to mean you could switch to get a bigger  bonus

Was thinking of starting a new thread that deals with all bank apps questions just wasn’t sure if it belongs in tech talk or credit cards so I’m just asking here:

why on earth does chase app not show activity on business cards like they do on personal cards? It says I have a balance if $xxxx but there’s no place to check what I purchased and what it bills as... :o
If I understood the rep correctly there’s a separate ink app that’s offers the details...but how dumb is that to create a whole new app for that???? ??? :o

it will show up in a day or 2. For some reason the business cards charges disappear before posting for a day or 2.

do you have the ink app? Is it worth downloading? I’m a minimalist when it comes to apps-want the least amount of apps possible

I got a replacement card on bgr account. When i called to get it, they said that when i activate the new card the old one automatically gets deactivated. Is this true? Will i not be able to use the old card anymore?
