In branch offer, you can bypass 5/24 if you know you have a fixed APR.

If I am an AU on a few cards, will the balance owed by the primary card holder also show on my credit report as balance owed by me and also increase my utilization rate? If this is the case and I want to close the cards I am an AU on, do I or the primary card holder have to contact Chase and Amex to close? How do I make sure they will be removed from my credit report? TIA

i think you can go through one of the credit apps and have it removed from your report with the claim "im not financially responsible for this card"

It will be clear to anyone pulling your credit report that the balance is not owed by you. It specifies whether you're primary, joint, or authorized.

The balance will definitely affect u on your credit report as long as you are a AU (for good and bad) the primary can contact the bank to remove you and it should fall off your report

Why don't you downgrade to a non AF card (assuming that is your objective) instead of closing it?
