What is a $140 credit on my card from Chase with a description of "Payment ThankYou - Image"? I haven't used the card in about 2 months.

Is there any issue with a 3rd party paying my Barclay (biz) cards?
Or is it only a problem with Amex and Chase etc?

We have received your request for a Chase credit card. We'll let you know our decision as soon as possible.

It's pending. You can wait it out a bit, or call recon. Which card was this for?

Inks have had a tendency to go pending, and then approved. Not sure if the same goes for SW biz. You can wait until you get a denial or approval, and call recon if necessary.

Please point me in the right direction if there's a better thread for this - would like to know if there are any known tricks for successfully canceling a Chase UR booking after the deadline and getting the points back. TIA!

Nothing really. You can try and give them a sob story (just as you can with any airline or OTA) but you're at their mercy.

Just my 2 cents, but I just had to spend hours on the phone with the UR portal team just to try and modify a room reservation at the same hotel for the same dates (to a cheaper room type). They have very rigid rules and you really are at their mercy.

Amex every say. Sign up for amex premium insurance and switch the card upon rental return. You won't get charged
