I currently have had a amex biz card for over a year. Will they require a hard inquiry if I want to open a new personal card?

All new cards require a hard inquiry... not quite following the question.

Does citi allow product changes within first year?
Sorry I don't have any snarky line for this space

Lots of banks only do a soft inquiry if you already have an account with them. But I don't think anyone exclusively does them so you can't rely on it even for personal to personal cards.

Wow, never heard of such a thing. Any idea which banks have done that (sometimes) in the past?

What are my odds of approval for a CIU or CIC if I got my first card with Chase (CFF) just over 90 days ago? And do I have a better chance of getting approved for a biz card if I apply in branch?
Still looking for a good MS method :)

Hey looking for some advice as I've been out of the game for the past couple of years..

I currently have a Bonvoy personal & business card, and a Citi thank you card. I'm looking to open up as many new cards as possible now to take advantage of whatever offers are out there now.

What's most valuable now, and what cards should I open first?
TIA!

Do you have specific goals in mind? Do you have a stash of TY points already?

The Chase Ink business cards have some of the best sign up bonuses in the game now. Currently have 6 of them :)

Can you have more than one of the same ink for the same business?

No. But you can get for multiple businesses. Or you can get a different Ink (presumably the Unlimited) and try PCing to another of the first (presumably the Cash).

Not quite sure it's a hard no like that (though I never tried more than 1 per biz or ssn).

You can typically only have one of each Ink card open at the same time, but exceptions can be made and if you are approved, you will get the signup bonus even if you have the same card active or had it recently.

I would say if you are eligible to receive the bonus then you should apply for the Amex Consumer Plat 100k offer with 10x points on grocery and gas spending.

Wondering if amex will allow you to set up a virtual account number before u get the card. Call and ask.
they wont. but they offer VC very often if there is a instant approval

Have well over a million Bonvoy but only about 40k TY.
Only goal is to get best bang for buck. Maximize signup bonuses, benefits and rewards. Usually sell but sometimes use miles for own travel. I'd like to signup for as many offers as possible but want to do it wisely and not sure how to navigate which cards to signup for first or las etc.. based on value and more importantly 5/24 type rules..

Not sure you're right about that.
Maybe @Dan can weigh in.
