if u did the order to pay 3 days ago -- if would show out of  your  current chase  balance --I would call amx and ask if it shows pending -- to me sounds like something is wrong- maybe u entered the wrong  pay date --you do not want to be late on a payment worth the phone call

the payment on amex side went through. It's that the money never left my chase account.

It's normal to take a few days for that.

Do not understand why you are concerned? - so CHASE paid the bill , AMX got its money --- what is the problem?----

banks are known to do a great job in taking care of themselves - no need to worry about them -- and if u think u now have EXTRA money in your CHASE account ,you are looking for trouble if you touch it-- many cases of  people finding  that a deposit was made into an account and in error a few extra zeros were entered -- people thought -- possession is KING !!--  they found out banks have a very good legal department

DROPR - it will close earlier this month as well, however if there isn't 7 days between spend and statement closing, the points will likely not post on this statement.
Thanks! Do the 7 days have to be from when the charge goes from pending to sale, or just from the actual spending.

Is a citibank card just as good as an AMEX for buying something fragile?  1) for extended warranty and 2) for scratches/dents etc (in the first 90 days?)?

Both insurances say they cover the extra year and the 90 day protection from my understanding.

I know that is the general feeling.  I wanted to know from people's personal experience re Citibank.

I didn't know if they just changed their policy time limits to match AMEX or they were always this way and AMEX just out performs them in stepping up to the plate during claims.

Will the AU get a new card number for Costco Amex or will it be just the same card with a different name?

I got a the exact same card with a different name when I added an AU for Macys Amex. Just wanted to confirm its not the case with Costco Amex. Am sure the the card number will be different for the other amex cards

This didn't work for me... any other ideas to get the points quickly?

Are there any downsides/risks to adding multiple Amex AU's in my own name and SSN?

Thoughts on whether to buy 120k points at 100% bonus on an IHG Chase card or as part of a large spend for a new CC?

I think it is 3x IHG points vs 1,380 TY points.  One IHG rep actually told me 10x (for IHG), another told me 3x (for online shopping).
