Generally when taking out a mortgage, it seems that the consensus is to have a clean report (no inquiries, new accounts) for about a year. What's the general consensus when it comes to car loans?

I cant speak for others but I had plenty of inquires when I got my auto loan. It depends a lot on the income.

I would just call the number on one of the cards and they'll put you through to whoever can do it

Having trouble searching for this but basic question, I currently have 3 MR cards, how many do I need to keep open to retain the points?
Will a simple ED be good enough to keep all the MR I earned from biz plat?

Do you mean that you're gonna try to use the targeted offer a few times or you're applying for different cards as well ?

Then what does it matter if you call in ? You could apply afterwards for more cards. Anything on the same day will be 1 pull. (Amex)

Even personal & biz will be 1 pull. (Chase personal & biz would be 2 pulls.)
