He obviously can't keep it, said he has to transfer out today..due to FR?
He didn't say a word about FR. As a matter of fact he was asked point blank, why he needs it out today but he didn't respond. In general people post only half the relevant info, and expect a response. Many people here are glad to help, but the question needs to be asked properly. Or if people ask follow up questions those should be responded to as well. #endrant

is there any odds of opening a amex card just for the signup bonus and close it right away like opening a card that has a annual fee and right after getting the signup bonus close that card so I can get back the annual fee, is there any negatives from doing that? can it make me any problems in the future to get approved for amex cards if they see me doing this?  thanks for your help
Do u have any different idea for a signature?

I did it with personal platinum and haven't had any issues getting approved for other Amex cards since.

I suggest you don't play this game if you have any hope of becoming president, and btw it's Marco with a 'c'.

Is it a really dumb move to pay phone, groceries, Amazon, etc. with an SPG when I have 5x cards?  I have to finish my spend within the next few weeks.

Anyone else succumb to the easy way out instead of searching for MS opportunities?

Depends on your app-o-rama. Most of us can't do 50k in real spending in three months anyways, so we're forced to resort to MS.
Who do you think you are fooling? You think you are going to pull a quick one on your Creator? Good luck with that.

I have a credit card merchant account for my business.  I almost dont use it. Should i be concerned to swipe my personal card on it once? I just want to meet spending for a relatively small amount.

Exactly, the larger our 'app-o-rama' (CC repertoire), the harder it is to meet spend with a new card.  ie Finding MS places that are not office supply stores, grocery markets, pharmacies, communication bills, .Amazon, etc.

I'm having a good experience with Barclays so far, grade CS, and my card was never frozen...
