I know that most here are joking, but even with an expired card, thieves can get you. Suppose they figure out your card #, call up the bank, and then after shmoozing about the account, they say, "oh, can you check my other accounts", or "are there any other cards that I am eligible for".

No difference between a closed or an open account, in this respect.

But with chase there is no chance of having any other cards...

Actually I closed that account myself voluntarily, and even if Chase closed it you can still have other open accounts

It was deffinetly a while ago (maybe 2 years). It could be they switched once they started giving people access to the points in a closed (due to aa) account.

New account? Try paying on mobile or if you have an AU, pay from their account.

Can i ask Chase to remove some pending charges?

(In Office max, they sometimes call in to 'preauthorize your credit card. Not sure if this always happens, but in this case the actual charge was a different amount than the final purchase. I now have some big temporary pending authorizations that are eating up my available credit)
If the charges already posted but pending charges are lingering then I think they can fix it. I have had it also and if I remember correctly chase cleared it for me.

I called amex to remove a pending charge but they said they can only dispute it once the charge is posted? I rather want it removed while pending then open a dispute, is it True or huca?
Do u have any different idea for a signature?
