How do you keep it not a headache? You just use one main card and let the others sit around? Why wouldn't you close them once you get the points? Then you can reopen 12 months later for more points...
If it's a fee free card, why not keep it in the sock drawer, use it every once in a while, and let it contribute to your credit history? Amex bonuses are once in a lifetime anyways, so no churning.
Some are only one time bonus. Others have massive returns for everyday spend.

Amex business you can get the bonus again 12 months after closing. Business cards are irrelevant to your report anyways, as long as you're not delinquent, SSSI you may as well close them after taking advantage of whatever benefits there are to be had.
