He was referring to fee free Amex cards. What you got with chase is irrelevant to your current situation.

60 days is only if you cancel. Since you just switched the product to something else, they count the amount of time you had the card and deduct that from the AF. I learnt this the hard way. (So did you I guess).

I added spetember a family member as an au on my amex card, the family member just pulled his Expirian report but its not showing that account yet, does it always take so long to go on the report?

Nothing wrong necessarily - Ime with having done that in the past was just chase making me send in proof of address
