yes.
That's not paying off your cc in cash. That is depositing cash in to your checking account

with chases 5/24 policy does that mean you will get denied right away or it can go into into pending and still get denied because of 5/24 ?( i applied for ink)
IME, you get the "We need to look at things and you'll here from us" screen.  Then you call the UW and get the, "You've opened many accounts in the last year."

The Ink is not subject to the 5/24 hard rule.  They can tell you too many new accounts as a denail reason, but that is really them saying they dont like your profile.

To be honest, I don't know. I'm comfortable doing it though. However ; eventhough it might be different because it's two different transactions for two different accounts (1 checking and 1 credit) , according to what pillansyme is saying above there is still what to worry about

HUCA.  State your case.  There is no hard rule on Inks, so it's possible to overcome that reasoning.

I keep cash and MO's away from Chase.  I've been advised to treat WF similarly.  Everything is YMMV,  and personal choice.

Anyone familiar with this card https://www.fidelity.com/cash-management/visa-signature-card

2%back no annual fee. How does it compare with Citi Double Cash?

Thanks

Same difference, assuming you pay in full each month.

Try any other co-brand business cards.  Pulls will merge.  Nothing to lose but time on the phone.

The 5/24 rule doesnt apply,  but that doesn't mean they wont have looser approvals for co-brands.  They're contractually obligated to get those cards to businesses.

I just put a new post up about this card.

The Citi card is an MC.  Will have better purchase protections.  3% FTF

The Fidelity card is a Visa.  1% FTF.  It is serviced by Elan.  So it doesn't count against overall exposure from one of the big boys.

with all respect i think pillan is misinformed on this, i am paying for years every month all my chase credit cards with cash  even huge amounts i just go in to a chase branch and i pay at window with cash never had any problems, i know plenty of ppl doing that and never had problems
