You may want to remove it from all 3 CBs.

And they will just remove it because
I ask? Why doesn't everyone
have them all removed ?

From my understanding (from this forum), yes. If you are not individually responsible for the card, you can choose to have it removed. (Which only makes sense since they end up on your report without matching to your SS number so technically anyone can add you as an AU without authorization and ruin your score, hence, your ability to remove it)

However, I never tried this myself. I will need to soon after opening 5 AUs in my name on my Amex account. Please report back if this worked easily with the 3 CBs.
If you are trying to get my attention/assistance and I'm not responding, please feel free to PM me. :)

I'm having trouble getting EQ and EQ to remove my Amex AUs. I even submitted a claim through CFPB and still didn't get it removed.

Uh oh. That's bad news for me. Did you mean EQ and EX? What's CFPB?

What's the CFPB saying?

They just forward EQ and EX's response saying that they looked into it and that it is accurately reporting.

That makes me a bit more calm but why would they randomly pick on you? HUCA not working?

No idea because it seems like people here get Amex AUs removed pretty easily. I've called each Credit Bureau twice and haven't tried again with CFPB (yet). Been a bit too busy and lazy to try again. Hopefully I'll get around to it again soon.

This may be the wrong thread for this, but it is related to CCs. :) We're going out of state the end of this month to see family for 4-5 nights. We're planning on staying at the Hilton Double Tree. Currently have Gold status. We'll finish up spend for Diamond today. We can get Corporate rate for $87 a night. Doesn't look like breakfast is included but they have a restaurant with buffet. Not sure if that will be included with Gold/Diamond.

1. If I book with Prestige, I can get 4th night free. Will they go with corporate rate?
2. Can I add 5th free night with Hilton or do I need to book all nights with Hilton card and go through their Honors program?

I know the Surpass gives 12x points but Hilton points aren't worth much, so it seems like a "free" night is the best way to go. I remember reading information about double dipping but can't find the thread. This will be our first reward/status stay so would appreciate any tips!

I used a SPG card with a chip in Europe and no pin was needed

No. You just insert it instead of swiping it and sign receipt.

What is the limit and is there any way of knowing where I'm holding with my PRG 2x points at groceries, etc.

I know Freedom card has $1500 limit on the 5x category, is there a way to see where I'm holding there also?

Is there a list somewhere of all cards that have extra bonus for extra spend, besides for the sign up bonus (e.g.$10k per year)?
