Gonna cancel DW gold card due to AF.
Options -
1. Downgrade to green for 5k still available?
2. apply for green 25k, downgrade to green 5k. (Can I have 2 green cards?)

I guess option 2 is better even without the downgrade 25k + no AF first year

Anyone know if there's a Financial Aid loan servicer that accepts automatic CC payment? I know one that doesn't accept CC payments at all and one that accepts CC but you need to call in each month, not automatic... Is there one that allows automatic by CC?

I recently received a $50 statement credit on the AMEX std Gold as a retention offer.. With a couple AMEX offer throughout the year, this card is still worth keeping to me due to its 20+ year reported age.

CMIIW, You can downgrade it to Green and keep the reported age.

Yes, but the Green has a $95 AF, and I got the Gold to $75 for the year (after being waived last year) Unless I'm missing something like they'll waive the AF for the downgrade.

I tried for the Sr Green, but was unsuccessful.

Yes. Just like over paying in other ways. But why would you want to do that?

If you're trying to prepay for a large purchase, it could be an F/R trigger.
