Yes, few of my friends had it lately, one of them didn't even receive the email until the next day. In fact, it didn't even show up on the status page AFTER it was approved.

No, If amex credits you, it counts towards the spend, if the merchant credit you it does not.

If I referred someone to the Amex Hilton Surpass card and downgrade to regular Hilton Honors before referral bonus posts, will I still get it once the card is downgraded?

Capital one statement closed on the 15th, can i safely assume that it has been updated on EX already? how long does it usually take?
