UA has more European partners = more travel options, AA has off-peak awards at 22.5k per way.

What's recommended?
Will closing them (or downgrading them?) effect my eligibility for applying for other Citi cards (AA)?

I'm assuming you used an Ink? The charges tend to drop off in between pending and posting. They'll show up.

I applied yesterday for 3 chase cards, SP, FU and Slate. I got for all 3 "we will contact you within 7-10 days. Whats the best to do, let it play out or call and ask for an update?

update: I was approved today for all 3. I have opened way more than 5 cards in past 24, though, I have disputed a few inquiries on my report that was pulled from Amex a few days apart. Not sure if tha helped.

I only had slightly more than 5, not way more, and was not approved.

the fact that I had less than 5 inquiries on my report by disputing when ever possible. can that be the reason I was approved? I do lots of legitimate business spending does that matter at all? My credit is floating around the 800 area.
