the fact that I had less than 5 inquiries on my report by disputing when ever possible. can that be the reason I was approved? I do lots of legitimate business spending does that matter at all? My credit is floating around the 800 area.

You may have had a pre approval in the system for being a good customer.

I open every 5-6 months 3 cards at a time. That's abut 9-12 cards in past 24 months. 4-5 of them are business, not sure exactly. In the past 4 years I was never declined for a card.

Just saying
if you applied for 9 cards and 5 were business it's less the 5/24

Not sure if it was 5 personal. I had about 10-12 past 24, a mix of personal and business. Does business cards not apply to the 5/24 rule ?

i actually ran the pre approval tool before applying, it said no matches for you.

Basically your amex business cards aren't reported so you're probably under 5/24

Citi, Barclay, Discover, Cap1 consumer cards. At least the consumer cards I have with whom I have authorized users. All the same credit card number and CVV code. No way to distinguish who made the purchase.

Chase personal doesnt show, but a business account shows which user made the charge.

Capital one consumer started giving separate numbers for authorized users. I just got a whole shipment of them
