Is there a max number of cards that Amex will approve you for in a given amount of time or that you can have open at any time? e.g. chase would be 5/24
They'll let you have 4 or 5 Amex "credit" cards at once. You can have more charge cards

If you do a lot of dining you'll benefit from the sapphire.
Or downgrade to the Freedom Unlimited for 1.5 points on everything.
Thanks.

Just confirming - there is no way to get signup offer on Sapphire card anymore. Right?

If you're reffering to getting an AU then amex won't work, they're different card numbers.

Basically want a replacement card thatíll work as AU. I know it works w Chase. Does it work w Amex or when you request replacement, they change number of exp or cvv?

I know Dan wrote about requesting a replacement CSR card to use for spending without AU annual fee. I want to know if this "trick" works with Amex Platinum card or will they change card number? TIA!
