First it asked for login. Incognito opened the page

I was in incognito, I got it to open on another computer  :o
If it's not free shipping it's not worth it.

Their app page has been a little weird lately. Hopefully that’s not bad news

Hotels and flights
assuming you have a sapphire preferred to go along with the FU thats probably a little bit better bang for your buck. it mostly depends which airlines/hotels.

i see theres no thread for citi simplicity and i can see why as it is not lucrative as far as rewards go, but being as i am in a pinch, i was wondering if someone could weigh in whether i can do a 3+bm on citi simplicity.
That is the only good card of theirs that you do not have?

Hotels and flights
depends on if you want flexibility or best value. If you want flexibility best to get points and then use them as cash. If you want value and can book in advance SPG is probably best. With that kind of spend you should focus on accumulating as many points as possible through sign up bonus's. Start with Chase cards subject to their 5/24 and then work your way into best offers. Amex 100k and occasional 150k offers etc

My wife applied and was approved for 2 Southwest personal cards (Plus and Premier) on 10/1. Statement date isn't announced yet but next payment is on 11/26. Chase seems to post statement 3 days after due date. I'm aiming for the Companion Pass in early January, so I'm trying to figure out when to complete spending requirements. It has to be within 90 days (I don't want to risk the 120 days other people are reporting), which willgive me until 12/30. I could complete the spend requirement on 12/29 (which will probably be statement date), but I worry that the points may not post automatically if transaction finalizes after 12/30. If I make the purchase too early, then I risk having the Pliny's post in late December. I've never called Chase to change statement date-- do I need to wait for first statement to close before I call?

With the latest offer from Capital One: I applied for the card. I already have a capital one venture and a sparks business card. I was denied because they say I opened too many cards in the last 24 months. The same thing happened to my husband when he applied for the card. I applied for 6 cards in the last 2 years. Is anyone aware of a limit in credit card  applications for being approved for Capital one cards? I called reconsideration and spoke to a supervisor who wouldn't budge. I have excellent credit

For those of you with dual citizenship, how do you handle BoA's questions on the app about residence and dual citizenship?  Put otherwise: will listing the non-U.S. residence and/or second citizenship cause an auto-reject or increase the odds?

I would say for now the SPG Biz is more most valuable one. Even though you need to spend a lot in order to get the bonus. 6,000 for 25,000 Points or 10,000 for 35,000 Points. Worth over 2 cents a point.
