If that’s the only card you have that’s able to transfer to airlines is 1 reason.
is a downgrade from one chase card to another considered by chase like two separate cards in terms of 5/24 rule ?if not then any reason to keep ink preferred over ink cash ?
im assuming that by downgrading i wont be eligible for the ink cash bonus correct?
You will, but why get it? Get the CIP again
why is it one or the other?i cant downgrade to ink cash get the 300 bucks and then get CIP again?whats the time limit for these things anyway how long to wait before apply for CIP again?
30k UR isn't that lucrative, if you are waiting anyhow may as well get multiple CIP
still not sure i understand how the two are related if i downgrade then get the bonus i wouldnt be able to get CIP again?and again how long do i wait before applying for CIP again?
You will be able tooThere is no set wait time, it depends on a lot of other factors as well.
is there no limit to how many times i can do this and then downgrade every time?
Until they shut you down...
any suggestions how much time i should give it if i got the card in January?
You can probably try now, if you have to do reconsideration some reps will only look on your CR and they won't even see that you have other business cards already.
if it depends on report and history then i think my chances are pretty good but think will wait a little anyways...also im not sure that with downgrade you are eligible for that cards bonus..according to post from dan its only for new applications.
Is there anyway to transfer my freedom points to an airline?I don't have any other chase cards besides the United, and I'm over 5/24 can't open another card.
Gonna need a different card. What upgrade options are there on the Freedom ?
You should be able to upgrade to CSP, (depending on your credit line). But you won’t get the signup bonus & you might be charged the AF IINM.
