So I should downgrade and forgo the CIC bonus, or apply for it separately when i'm ready to meet minimum spend?

Appreciate the response. I'd probably get my banker friend at Chase apply so i can get the 100K.
That's another option, not to downgrade, then get the CIC at a later date.

I'm looking for threads/info on best practices for paying credit card balances (when, how much to pay, how much balance to carry etc etc)

Some of the info I found on DDF seems dated. Can someone pls point me to the right threads? Thanks!

I guess by you

Well UR transfer to SPG (Thru Marriott Rewards) at a rate of 3:1 so isn't 1 SPG more valuable than 2 UR? I have never used SPG for airlines, maybe for flights UR is worth more??

If the only currency that's valuable to you is SPG, then yes, 1 SPG is worth more than 2 UR (even more than 3 UR, you save yourself time with the transfer).

Any tips on transferring CL from Chase ink preferred to Chase ink plus? I got the Chase ink preferred with a 50k CL and got a new Chase ink plus with 0% apr for 12 months but only 5k CL.  I would like to transfer some of the CL from the preferred to the ink plus. Any tips if this can trigger an account review etc? My credit limit across all Chase business cards is above my stated income.

I'm not positive about this, but I think the amount you transfer wouldn't be part of the 0 APR. CMIIW

There’s this, but don’t ask too many questions there.

Thank you. I had seen that thread, I thought it was outdated cuz it's from 2016

Am I asking too many questions here?   :-\

So is there any concern about transferring the CL?

I'd be concerned as it is with CLs over SI. I'd recommend transferring what you need, and lowering the credit line on the other one as much as possible.

If I am being offered from chase when I log in to my chase online account to sign up for the CSP and receive 50,000 points, will I get the bonus even though I had the CSP within the last 24 months?
