Never cancel a card unless you really can't afford or justify the AF, and there are no downgrade options. This applies even more so to your first card.
Memories last forever, make them while you can.

even if it's an amex? Thought they consider all cards same length as original card. Not first card just first Amex

its an Amex everyday no fee but holding one of five credit card slots and only a 2000 credit line

my wife has 1 card on her name ,and has 4 cards as authorized users on my accounts, all added with in the past year

she would like to open some chase cards now,would removing  her as authorized users from my accounts help her get approved or she has to just apply and if she does not get approved than say its just authorized users ...?
