I keep getting declined by citi because "Too many inquiries in the past 6 months" and i only have 3 inquiries anyone have experience getting the application reconsidered from them?

that reason usually is just an excuse. their recon is hopeless IME

when chase and barclays combine inquiries on same day applications does that mean till 1159 pm or does that mean a 24 hr period from when you apply?

I applied for a barclay card around a month ago and they requested all my info social drivers liscense..and after I sent it in around a week ago they did another credit pull is there a way to have them consolidated or have one disputed?

Unless you are willing to spend an enormous of time on it, escalating with the bank and mailing letters with evidence to the credit bureau, then no.

I recall this being discussed recently but I’m not sure where, so I’ll ask it here. I’m thinking of making my brother in law a user on my Ritz card so he can get priority pass. Is it something to be nervous about with Chase that he lives at a different address than me and has a different last name?

Applied for two Chase cards 2BM, approved one (UE), declined other (Freedom). Called Recon, said eligible for recon and he will submit for recon, will get decision in mail. Letter came- declined- reason "too many accounts opened recently. I am NOT 5/24. Any point in calling again or mail decision is final?? TIA!

While the BB+ is a great no AF card, it should be noted it is lacking many of the purchase protection benefits that AMEX is known for. That could or could not be a significant factor in what card to use, especially when purchasing something at B&H.
