Had fraud on my chase account and got an email that stated this when I reported it:

We'll notify Equifax, TransUnion and Experian that we closed your other account. Their records should be updated within 60 days.

Is this going to affect my credit? Maybe lower the age because the account they replace the closed account with will be younger?
If you are trying to get my attention/assistance and I'm not responding, please feel free to PM me. :)

They notify them of a change in account number, if that's the case it won't effect anything

Asking for a friend who’s having trouble paying bills and wants to open a card that has a low APR or zero APR offer followed by a low APR so they can make future purchases (maybe even a balance transfer) on there until they’re back on their feet bezH. Any ideas of cards that fit this idea would be greatly appreciated. Thx!!!

Does Presidential Plus MC provide any benefit to a Premier traveler other than flex PQM? Meaning doesn't a Premier member get all the other perks?

Any advice on a good card to apply for? Looking for good signup bonus. I think gonna focus on non Chase cards.

Have CSP, UE, Chase Marriott, Ink Cash and SPG. I plan on downgrading the Marriott to a Freedom or Freedom Unlimited, need to wait another few days to do that as it is just shy of 12 months since opening. TIA!

Have similar question.
What's should be my next card?
I currently have Amex Biz plat, Biz blue, spg, delta. Chase Freedom, Fr Unlimited, Sapphire Pr, Biz Unlimited ,Biz Cash, BoA Cash.
I only keep cards with high AF past 1 year if they give me yearly credits and value.
DoC has a post about best offers but not sure that's best for me.

I'll probably exchange my CSP with the Chase Biz preferred once the second year AF on my CSP kicks in.

Would be great if any Mevinim chime in. TIA

You can't downgrade the Marriott to freedom. If yes it's a new DP;)

Is there somewhere else on DDMS or DDF that discusses best offers and cards to have? (not just Chase Trifecta)

I'm sorry for the ignorance but what's DP??

Why can't it be downgraded to a Freedom or Freedom Unlimited? What CAN it be downgraded to? I have no use for it since the SPG merger. TIA

DP stands for data point.
Marriott cards can only be changed to other Marriott cards.

DP = Data point

All of chase cards can only go up or down in its own category. Meaning freedom can only be upgraded to a UR (ultimate rewards) earning card. While Marriott will only stay in the Marriott category cards.

Hopefully a no AF Marriott card exists with Chase?

I see no mention in that link of a no annual fee Bonvoy card being released.
