with my experiencewith amex they will not pull if they see you have been paying your bills and have relationship with them. With that being sed they didnt pull a second pull when i applied for a buissniss card not long after i applied for a personal card.

I get tons of CC offers in the mail. Is there any way to stop them without calling each individual bank?
https://www.optoutprescreen.com/
Will this also stop offers regarding existing accounts I have with Banks and CC companies?
I am sometimes accused of overthinking things. I am still mulling over whether that accusation has merit.

Theoretically no, but you'll be surprised how much the volume is reduced. You could always opt out directly with the 1-2 banks that are sending the most.

I recently closed my Amex Delta gold card because of the annual fee. Then I realized that I should have downgraded to the free blue version. I called to see if they can reinstate the account, and the rep says that reinstatement is like a new app with a hard credit pull, and will be reported on my credit report as a new account. I'm not sure if I should believe that, and for this price I may as well do a new app with a signup bonus... Anyone have any info / experience with reinstatements from Amex?

PUTPACA, if you get the same thing, HUCA. Reinstatments don't work like that, but this rep may be doing it incorrectly, and may actually just be applying for a card for you.

when citi premier writes how "you will receive 60k TY points after $4k in purchases are made within first 3 months", do pending charges count?

my statement closes tomorrow 9/12 and I have $600 worth of charges sitting as pending that likely will not post until after 9/12. if they don't count, what charges can I run up today that will definitely post in time?

it will be posted with the transaction date, so you should be fine
If it benefits even just one fellow DDFer, its worth posting it.

It’s usually not exactly 90 days. It varies by issuer. Doc has a write up about it.

so you mean that even if those charges remain in pending status until 9/14, thereby passing my official 9/12 statement close date, when it posts it will only have a date of when I actually swiped the card (9/11)?

Is it possible to combine a citi personal card with a citi business card on the same login? CSR claims it's not possible.

Impossible.
One of the most frustrating things in all of online banking (right after anything to do with BoA's website.)

If been discussed before , please refer me.

I by mistake hit the wrong button on my Chase credit card payment tab... the payment got returned, I soon as I realized  ( a few days later) I called up Chase to tell them it was a mistake and they told me they would put a note on the account. First time this has happened. Do I have to be worried about an account shutdown? What steps can I do to prove it was a mistake?
