If I downgrade a Chase Sapphire Preferred to Chase Freedom, is the Annual Fee prorated?
I know this question was discussed back in 2016, but there are conflicting answers.
Also how long does it have to stay a CSP to keep the bonus points?
I also asked this in the sapphire forum
Here
but this seems to get more traffic recently.

Not sure about the bonus thing. BUT, if you downgrade within 30 days of the fee posting, you get the fee prorated.

To be safe, I'd recommend downgrading 14 days after your annual fee posts, definitely do not recommend getting the card, hitting spend bonus, and downgrading before 12 months of card membership have lapsed.

I just tried product changing my AMEX SimplyCash Plus to Blue Business Plus and the agent said you can't product change from a cashback card to a MR card. Is this true or DROPR?

Is this really something to be concerned about? what's the worst case scenario; they would take away the points (in which case i can just transfer them first) or the infamous red flag (then it's not worth messing)

What happens if I get a refund on an Amex card that I closed?

Do they send a check automatically, or can I call and have the refund transferred to an open card?

Has chase updated the T&C?

Chase cardmembers who currently have or have had a Chase credit card in any Rewards Program associated with this offer, may not be eligible for a second Chase credit card in the same Rewards Program.

I'm looking on starting a business and opening a CC.. In the first week or so going to be spending at least 1.5k on a Credit Card at lowes or home depot. What's the best credit card to sign up for that? Spending at lowes/home depot would likely increase as well... TIA
