I currently have the Amex Gold Card (Formerly PRG).
With the higher AF and the protections gone, I'm thinking of cancelling and getting the Amex EveryDay Preferred.
If I calculated correctly, it's only cheaper to get the Gold Card if i get at least $155 out of the airline credit and seamless credit which takes some effort to get.

Do my calculations make sense?

Does the EDP have better protections then the AGC?

Aren't they the numbers from your profile? Why not just add another?

Amex made 2 payments of same amount billed meaning my bill was let say $5k amex pulled 2 $5k payments from my Chase account, and gave me an overdrawn fee because there wasn't enough money in my Chase account! Will this hurt my credit?

Had a similar situation once. Called Amex and where very helpful in resolving situation with bank and they should reimburse you for overdraft

Well for starters, it's against the T&Cs. Secondly, while it may not be the case here, some merchants share data with the bank/CC company about what items were purchased. A combo of my 2 points would result in no SUB.

Have a Business AMEX that has a 0% APR promo ending in two months is it possible to ask Amex if it can be extended for few months (timing just not so good to end now), or no such thing? If I can ask is that a red flag?

IME they often have a 'new' offer at the same terms available after the first expires. Definitely call.

Citi simplicity advertises that they never charge a late fee, how is that possible ? What are the t&c's for that
