I didn't...( I wish I could 8))

Like I said it's for a camp I am advising ;) so the spending is very intense, but only for about 2 to 3 months a year
But you are correct it's still going to be quite a bit before it's over this year

I have asked them when they wouldn't approve an application since the new card needed more credit than they wanted to give me.
Workflowy. You won't know what you're missing until you try it.

Yup, usually it's instant approval. Recently they have to review the application. They claim I have too much credit on my Chase cards

Makes sense, I always lower my credit limits before applying for a new chase card

I just had chase do it for me themselves without even asking them to. I had an app pending and then the next day I called recon to see what the status (without looking at my account to see that it had already been approved) and the rep said that they approved it but they had needed to move credit around to open it. They decided on their own which card to reduce credit from.

Any DP's how Citi treats a refund that will drop you below spending threshold for SUB? Based on what I read from TPG, Citi says they won't claw back but looking for first hand info

Generally, yes. Just call the bank and request.

Will a credit card offer a CDW if a rent a car using part enterprise points?

Speaking to a Amex rep she said not. Chase rep said yes

Do they have different rules on this? Was one of them mistaken?

Just make sure the old one is removed from your chase dashboard, or you will be rejected for 'already having this card'. If it's still there, you can sm to get them to remove it, before you apply.

You can choose to login to apply(new option)  and see if the application is available. if it says application not available then it means it's still registered. (sometimes even if it doesn't show up in your chase dashboard)

Downgrade from Premier to Rewards+ keeps my TYP from expiring correct? Does Rewards+ have the ability to transfer to airline partners or only Premier and Prestige?

Correction:
According to a chase phone rep. when you close an account it remains pending for 30 days
and the system automatically rejects applications for the same CC
and that is the policy and there is no reconsideration.

I have seen cards get approved  24-48 hours later. but you need to double-check to make sure it cleared out.
