Say what? They are completely useless at that point. I only did it to test things. What is 808 going to get you that 800 won't?
You also have to compare it to people with low credit lines when they spend 500 that could be half their credit line and can make a huge difference.
The "greatly" part is what I take issue with. Are we talking a 40-50 point increase, I don't think so.
Significant relative to hard it is to obtain. Meaning it's much harder to get from 800 to 850 then 750 to 800. If there's a use? 🤷♂️
We are talking about putting a small amount on one card to increase your score. Your CL won't matter.
Obtaining something that is hard but does not help you is a waste of time.
Perhaps for someone who's just starting out.
Not a chance.
Putting a small amount on one card for someone with just one card usually means (if he's using his card regularly) that they need to pay up almost everything before they're statement closes. If they're CL is $1000 and they spent $500 that month, then not paying up early means they are using 50% of their CL which is bad for one's CS
If you say so, 🤷♂️
Check out CB and it is all explained in detail. It has also been tested extensively by the legend BW.
We are talking about the $2 trick. Check out CB and it is all explained in detail. It has also been tested extensively by the legend BW.
Is it $1 or $2?
Once upon a time banks would forgive statements of $1 or less, so that was a reason to spend $2.I don't think any banks still do that.
Discover?
Source?
discover still does up too $2
1.99 is the max they've credited ime
I have a pre-approval for amex business gold 50k after 5k spend without waiving the annual fee, is it worth it?
