If I make a payment to Chase CC with a Chase Checking Account, does the original credit limit apply immediately? I made the payment and the credit limit didn't change, I wonder if it's possible that what's written didn't update, but the full limit is there.

You should be able to add it to your mobile wallet.

I did it a year or two ago and a bonus for downgrading to a regular without an AF.
It's possible if you find the right rep.

What are the benefits on the regular Arrival?

Your credit score doesn't take a permanent hit when you lose some credit, only temporary, so it may not really make a difference. If you have any other Barclay card, move the credit line to that card, then close the card with no hit.

Not always the case it's all relative, say someone has a CL of 5000 over 2 cards. Removing half the CL is going to be detrimental to the CS.

My total credit line between my 5 cards is like 77k (besides a Chase Ink card, prob another 10k?). Barclays is 10k out of the 77K. This is where I was unsure if I should just take whatever no AF card they have or just bite the bullet and close the account....? Thanks

That's over 10% of your total CL, I'd probably keep it if I can but it shouldn't do too much harm.
Total CL isn't a temporary thing just wanted to point that out.

Thanks!! Yeah, it's probably worth it to move the CL to any no AF card they have. Maybe their Wyndham card. Didn't look too terrible

I guess after I open more cards and have more credit, I can always come back and permanently close it...?
