Does Amex have a rule that you’re limited to 2 approved credit (not charge) cards every 90 day rolling period?

I would like to get another chase card. I currently have 1 business card and 2 personal. I got my last card about 5 months ago and I'm under 5/24. Anything to be concerned about?

Yes, but I think this rule only applies to credit cards and not their charge cards.

You should be fine, you may eventually bump up to the overall credit limit that Chase is willing to extend to you across all cards. But it’s tough to know what that limit is until you actually bump up against it. And in that case you may be able to reallocate credit by calling the reconsideration line.

Is it a firm rule so I shouldn’t even bothering to apply if got 2 cards 60 days ago or is it more of hit or miss type?

I believe it's a firm rule

Which banks are known to make problems if I use more than the credit limit in a month (by paying bill)?
I know amex is fine,
IIRC Barclays is fine?
What about cap1 and Citi?

Cap1 will restrict the account ime. You have to call to undo the restriction every time which is a huge PITA.

Regarding the chase United explorer card —-  Maybe someone could help me with some advice. I got this United explorer card 11 months ago with the intention of getting the bonus (was 60k at the time, first year fee waived) and then cashing out somehow (through selling) and then downgrading or closing the card. I have now 65k points. I called up and 2 different reps confirmed with me that I can cash out my United points at a rate of 1.5 per point as a statement credit against previous charges. I would have to call up and redeem over the phone. So im thinking about cashing out and downgrading  to the United gateways… the question is maybe I should keep this card/ the points. I’ve seen from different posts that United award flights could be helpful and the United points could come in handy….but I really don’t fly that often. Married for 4 years and flew Nyc-Miami 2x. If I keep the card I pay 95$ but maybe it’s worth it for the ability to book award flights (which I don’t have a clue how to do) the free bags/lounges and other perks etc and ….and 2 - maybe even if i downgrade to save the annual fee is it smart to cash out the points at 1.5 each? Or save them for flying? Which honestly who knows when the next time I get on a plane would be…..sorry for the long post and thanks for the help

Does anyone know if credit cards charges to bet at an online casino would show up as a cash advance? If yes,  are there specific issuers that might not code it as a cash advance?

I am specifically trying to load money at the ceasars online sportsbook (williamhill.com)

Is anyone else having a hard time logging in to Citi thank you points?

I can log in to my accounts, but the thank you sure always shows me as logged out

Or is there a way to transfer points by phone to AA?

I just tested it and I was able to log in fine. I find the citi website to be very glitchy with cookies and cache - try clearing those and then log in again.

Done a few times.
They were able to transfer to AA over the phone, now I just hope that the miles come in before my hold expires. (business web special)
