How about a place to bounce random "credit card" questions off of the crew. I will start:

When does the AMEX Blue Cash Preferred $6k on groceries reset? is that based on the calender year? Is there a way to know if you have already hit the max on it?

I like the idea, but feel like the pros will always know which thread your Q really belongs in.

Unite Mileage Plus Explorer gives additional 5K for AU.

+1 Good to know! I want to do it to help build someone's credit (and figured I might as well do it on a card that gives a bonus) but was also curious if that's a way to rack up miles.

Its not simple that you'll for sure be building his credit adding him as an AU on Chase. Amex is more probable. CMIIW.

Its not for sure but its definitely less probable as Amex asks for your SS# and chase doesn't. Tho there are still ways for it to be done even without your SS#.

If my credit report has a pull from "Amex Account Review" should I be concerned? It's a soft pull, so I'm not concerned about it hurting my score, but is that an indication that Amex is looking into me?
