IMHO this is a "bad idea" because it might get your application flagged as fraud. They send the phone number and email to ID Analytics for a fraud score, and it can potentially trigger a lengthy process of sending ID, docs, etc.

If your number is on her CR already, then it's probably okay.
The phone number verification is correct.  I don't see why the email address would be a problem.
But even assuming you are right, it is not a def flag, and even if it is, usually a call is all that is needed.  IMO, worth the minimal effort to make bookkeeping much easier.

When signing up for a card for your spouse, is it a bad idea to use the same phone number and email that's on your own accounts?
I want to do that, so my email and number are the default on her account.
Never had a problem.
Only on DDF does 24/6 mean 24/5/half/half

Too late - I changed the number/email to her info. Hyatt card got instant approval. Freedom got error message that the app wasn't valid. Called Chase to verify it didn't go through, and they confirmed that nothing came in. So I applied again (using her info) and got pending. Time for recon. Was so nice to get Hyatt instant approval, haven't had one of those since my first card (IIRC).

Anyway, I'll probably call later and ask to switch number/email to my info, see if they'll do that.

United = *A
QF = OW
VA = No alliance

So... not really. MR can be transferred to Aeroplan which can be used to book onto United, and to VX/VS you can book onto VA. Not gonna be great.

VA has a list of partners here: http://www.virginaustralia.com/au/en/experience/airline-partners/other-partners/ and on the left.
Thx, knew that but there are alot of Airlines with partners outside their alliance.

So plan B. Is there some sort of insurance I can buy that if I take a mileage flight from A to B with say United, and have a "connecting" flight from B to C on another airline, that will insure the second leg in case the first is delayed so I miss the second flight?

Leaving a few day break is not an option in my case.

The email address thing is recent. It just adds some points to the risk score, but not that much. And yeah, usually you get a screen to call them and they ask some stuff from your CR and you're all done.

I was just saying, if you want instant approvals, to just make sure the info matches the CR (or previous apps!). :)

I had a whole thing with Chase about using my corporate email on the Ink+ application and my personal email on my CSP. It took like 2 weeks to clear that up. And now, even though I had my personal email nowhere in my business app or profile, I get Ink+ related emails to my personal *and* business addresses.

Just out of curiosity, where are you going from and to? I'm from Australia (living in SF now) so maybe I can help with some tips. :)

Wow, awesome find! Up to 4 times/year. I wonder if I can get 4x/year per card, if needed c"v. Thanks! Time to say goodbye to AAA.

For example, the Blue and Zync card's roadside assistance is strictly dispatch only; you pay for any services rendered.

Any explanation on why the next statement closing date on a few new Chase accounts changes every single day on chase.com?

Just the way it works for your first statement.

If the amex promo in store X is spend 50 get 10 back. If I return $30, does AMEX not give you the $10? Does it make a difference if I return it before/after the AMEX credit?

After the credit I don't think they claw it back.

Why does AA send me an email that I should check in for a refundable ticket that I refunded ages ago?
Is the ticket still active after the refund?

I once got a call from a GA on a refundable ticket that I got the refund for ages ago.
Probably left over the itin shell with no eticket number.
Save your time, I don't answer PM. Post it in the forum and a dedicated DDF'er will get back to you as soon as possible.
