According to my saved screenshot, I applied for the Bold.  It doesn't say it on the card. It just says business.   Could they have given me the Plus instead? (or are you mistaken? could it be the opposite- bold says business and plus says plus?)
On my bold it says "business bold" though I still have the old "master card"

My husband's is a visa (may 2014) and it says 'business bold'.  (bold was under the sticker so I didn't see it.)
Mine is a mastercard (june 2013) and only says 'business'.  I'll assume it, too, is a bold.
Thanks.

I'm setting up my amex cards for autopay. I see that the options for the amount are
Total New Balance
Minimum Payment Due
or Fixed Amount.

Anyone know if there's a way to pay just the statement amount (and not the new balance), like Chase allows?

Thanks

I'm pretty sure that is the statement amount.

But statement amount is not one of the choices!

I believe Total new balance is the statement balance,
Current balance wouldn't be the statement balance.

Wouldn't Total New Balance be all that I currently owe them (even purchases made after the statement closed)?

In practice, no. I believe it means total statement balance less any payments you've already made after the statement close date. I think it works just like the Chase auto pay.

That would be current/outstanding balance.

Which is not one of the choices.
If so, why do they call it "New Balance". It's NOT new!

Is there any way to get an instant link (like Chase through Twitter) when referring a friend to an Amex card?
It's been 4 hours since and the email didn't come...
I try my best :-\

Dang I didn't know about that for Chase and I wanted it recently! I did it the regular way and I think it just emailed them a link, but who knows how long till they actually get the email.

Btw sorry I have no advice for Amex.

Chase can take a while through email, like up to a week.

So I just wanted to run this by anyone to make sure im doing this correctly. About to apply for some new cards.

Just realized I still have an old United milaege plus Explorer and an even older Miles Plus united card that I pay the annual fee on ( >:( ) . I should prob switch the united mileague plus CL over to my sapphire and close that as my oldest is the miles plus card. I assume it makes sense to keep it (even with the fee for now) as its the oldest!? (or not?).

Or would anyone suggest transferring the CL over for both and closing both to avoid 190 in fees annaully.

Also, my wife also has the United Explorer (also paying annual fee) but that is not only her oldest CC but also currently her ONLY one.  Is the gameplan for her: Open new cards > call chase > transfer CL from explorer to new card > close old card?

Thanks in advance
