MaxPerks @ Office Max: Looking for 100% Back

9 days to go until our Max Perks Rewads vanish if not used.  What's the best deal?  Doesn't look like there's any 100% coming so need to plan for the inevitable of using it up at normal retail price w/out repeating this wonderful cycle.  I can't think of anything I need there...maybe more copy paper for the local school...

Need to check this out.  I vaguely remember that they are only good instore, not online.

Teacher rewards post each quarter, instead of each month, but you have a quarter to use them.  Again, check out this info.

Today is the last day to redeem for all of us w/ 31 May, 2014 expiration dates.
Remember, it can also be redeemed at Office Depot which is much more convenient for me than Office Max.
Max Reward my friends & let's hope for more 100% MaxPerks in the future!

The information I rec'd from "Carmen" over the phone at the local Office Depot was wrong!
Sorry everyone!  She replied so promptly & thoroughly that it seemed certain that MaxPerks could be redeemed at Office Depot.
Went there, shopped, filled the cart & at register told can't redeem MaxPerks from Office Max @ OD.
Escalated & told no way, not yet.  Drove to OM and was rewarded with a bunch of stuff that was on clearance
like $27 children school backpack for $4 so some other great deals so sometimes you do get lemonade from lemons!

Not that I have found!!     OM and OD have merged so does that mean we can buy an OD GC with our points that will be good at either???!  I have no time to check this out now.  Anyone know?

Reward cards are not redeemable for gift cards, general use pre-paid cards, phone cards and are not redeemable for cash unless otherwise required by law.

Ok.  I just called anyway.  You can request a one time courtesy and have the  points extended another 90 days if not used.  I had my account noted.  OTOH, I don't think I am going to do it.  The points will be available only at the end of August.  OTOH, I think I am going to opt to buy just anything, return it to OD and have the credit to buy the back to school bargains during the month of August!  I told CSR what I was planning on doing to se if she could extend the deadline instead, but nogo.

Do they automatically give you a store credit if you return a purchase made with maxperks points? Or does that require some finageling?
