A wiki is a list of instructions, advice or information.
It can be edited by others, who click 'edit wiki'.

Write up instructions on you given/ volunteered topic as if you were teaching it to someone.  As if you were walking him through it. It being whatever your topic is.

To include all the relevant info, go through the entire thread taking notes and adding anything new and important to your word document 'scrap paper'.

Then write it up in clear, simple language.

I think the recon threads should be wiki'd. One of the first place's all the n00bs are going to once they apply are the recon threads.

There should be a standard format for wikis, to make it easier to add and read.

Regular threads should start off with a short article explaining the topic of the thread, followed by an faq for common questions.

Destination and restaurant threads should have a listing of all available places to go to UNLESS it's in NYC where a listing is a pretty dumb idea due to too many listings. Additionally, the end of these wikis should be used to share tips and links to other related threads.

I was thinking that it might be a good idea to add users wiki status to their profiles. Similar to post count and deals posted to DD, there can be threads wiki'd! Kinas sofrim tarbeh wiki's!
Not sure how it would work because the wiki just says last edit by: but i'm sure there is a way to keep track.
