Topic Wiki

A wiki is a list of instructions, advice or information.
It can be edited by others, who click 'edit wiki'.

Write up instructions on you given/ volunteered topic as if you were teaching it to someone.  As if you were walking him through it. It being whatever your topic is.

To include all the relevant info, go through the entire thread taking notes and adding anything new and important to your word document 'scrap paper'.

Then write it up in clear, simple language.

Maybe increase the font size of the main heading "Hotels", and then a slightly smaller font for the sub-headings "SPG, IHG, Marriott".  Also, maybe bold the links for the names of hotels, activities, etc.

Also, I realize this may be too much work, but IMO a table format would be more pleasing to the eye, and easier to find and compare information.

I think no need for a table here. Instead of posting addresses, phone numbers and long descriptions, KISS, and just leave a short description with a link to a site with more info.

That makes sense.  The more in-depth descriptions can be left to the thread.  I think you are right regarding the contact info, unless there is no link available, I think it is redundant.  Most people will click through anyway.

The "pros" don't necessarily know what to write in the wiki if they have no experience with the topic. Anyone, including n00bs, should write/add whatever they think is important to the wikis, in whatever format they know how to post in. After that, a pro can always come in, do cleanup and make it nicer. As they say on Wikipedia- BE BOLD!
