« on: October 18, 2013, 10:22:06 AM »
Hey, im in fdu but not currently enrolled, i gotta finish it up... Im sure lots a guys here did fdu or needed to do cleps and know a lot of places where one can study...
To start things up, anyone know easy ways of getting credits besides cleps which can be quite hard sometimes.
Also, im about to take a clep on information systems and comp app, anyone know of good study resources or a place where i can take practice tests?
Thanks

If you check out fdu.com/yeshiva, you can see the classes they offer. IME, most of those classes were a walk in the park. The best classes are the ones they offer over Chag. In ~two weeks, you can finish two classes or more.

2 classes not more.
If you still need math credits look at ALEKS.com, really easy and then you forward a transcript to either swanzey or goldfarb. (Don't remember which)

Through NYU there are language tests. 4 cr for first level passing, 8 for next, 12 cr for being able to write a composition on one of their title usually about current events and modern topics.  I don't remember the price.  They have both Hebrew and Yiddish.

you cone in with 72 credits, must take 18 with fdu and another 30 with cleps and stuff.
Im guessing the 18 with fdu is hard to play around with but what about the 30? I took a biology clep- passed bh, but it was murder, about to take comp clep...
I really dont want to take a math clep or a english/writing clep. Any way out of those?
Whose Rabbi z? Contact info?

I know one person who's out $20k+ without counting hours upon hours of wasted time. The people in the know (read: hockers), know about this.

[/quote]AFAIK he sets up a decent schedule with most tests being on tanach Hebrew, Talmud etc its relatively easy for yeshiva guys.
Are you saying that he overcharges or that his program is not legit? cuz I know two ppl who successfully did it...
